Gargoyles Remastered has been given a release date

Disney announced last year that the 1995 game based on the animated series would be getting an HD remaster, but didn’t give a release date. Now Disney has confirmed that the remaster will be released on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (via Steam and GOG) on October 19.

The game Gargoyles was released in North America for the Genesis console only. Players controlled the TV show’s protagonist, Goliath, who explored New York City in search of the Eye of Odin — an evil artifact that corrupts all who possess it.
The remaster allows you to play in both the original 16-bit graphics and new hand-drawn graphics that make the game look like a cartoon. Pre-orders for the digital version begin today and will cost $14.99.
Remaster is available for $14.99.
Limited Run Games will also release the physical game in three different editions — a standard edition priced at $34.99, a classic edition priced at $69.99, and a collector’s edition priced at $174.99.
The Classic Edition comes in a VHS-style slipcase, a VHS cassette-style box, and a Steelbook cover. The Collector’s Edition contains all the same stuff as the Classic Edition, plus a larger box, limited edition Goliath figure, poster, and more with a certificate.
