Elden Ring Nightreign: release date and edition details

From Software has announced the release date for multiplayer spin-off Elden Ring Nightreign – the game will be released on May 30, 2025.

Future Network Test

Bandai Namco has shared the news ahead of the server test, which will take place from February 14 to 16. Invited players will be able to try out the game ahead of time.

Additional players will be able to try out the game.

Gameplay and Features

Announced at The Game Awards in December, Elden Ring Nightreign offers cooperative boss fights.

The game is inspired by the Elden Ring universe, but instead of a single-player adventure, it offers fast-paced co-op action with roguelike elements.

Each playthrough lasts three nights (about 30-45 minutes), and the map is constantly shrinking in battle royale style. Players can play alone or in a group of three, choosing one of eight classes. A final boss battle awaits them at the end of the third night.

The game will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The publisher is Bandai Namco.
