But not everyone loved it: the video quickly gained a lot of dislikes. Critics didn’t approve of how close the game was to reality: shooting cute elephants isn’t much fun when they look so realistic. In the comments, they even suggest making a simulator to fight poachers, so much so that the public was hurt. Interestingly, the developers promise to present this controversial activity as ethically as possible – in other words, it’s not just another Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts.

Ultimate Hunting doesn’t have an exact release date yet. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Versions for Nintendo’s next console and for VR headsets have also been announced.
