iOS 26 leak reveals Apple’s 2026 plans and future devices

New leaks have indicated that Apple is working on a new AirTag, an updated HomePod mini, an iPad with an A19 chip, and an M4-based iPad Air. Now, new information has emerged that sheds light on an even broader list of Apple products and features expected in 2026 and beyond.

According to MacRumors, the editors have managed to obtain a list of «unreleased devices and features» revealed in an early beta of iOS 26. The list mentions future Apple devices, new chipsets, and internal project code names.

According to the list, Apple could introduce AirTag 2, Studio Display 2, and several smart home devices next year, including a next-generation Apple TV, a desktop robot, and HomePod mini 2.

The document also mentions the iPad 12 with an A19 processor, the M4-based iPad Air, and future iPhone models, including the iPhone 17e, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and foldable iPhone. The iPhone Air 2 is also mentioned separately, but its codename was found in a software build created before Apple decided to delay the release of its successor.

Mac computers and wearable devices are further down the list. The affordable MacBook with the A18 Pro chip, the MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, and later versions of the M6 Pro and M6 Max-based MacBook Pro are mentioned. MacBook Air with M5, Mac Studio, and Mac mini are also in the pipeline.

The wearable devices segment lists the Vision Air headset, several models of AR glasses, a more affordable version of the Vision Pro, Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4.

The list is rounded out with code names for Apple’s upcoming processors, including the U3, M5 Pro, M5 Max and M5 Ultra, M6, A20 and A20 Pro, as well as the S11 chip.
