TCL strengthens its position in Mini LED with the new Q9L Pro series

TCL introduced the Q9L Pro, a new flagship series of Mini LED TVs that combines high-end display technology with gaming capabilities. The lineup includes models from 55 to 98 inches, offering the best in home theater performance.
Minimal glare and high contrast
The main feature of the Q9L Pro is the Butterfly Star Screen, which utilizes a HVA panel and dual-layer anti-reflective coating, reducing reflections to 0.5%. Local dimming is the responsibility of Omni-Zone, starting at 720 zones on the 55-inch version and rising to 3,456 zones on the 98-inch model. Peak brightness also rises, from 3,000 nits on the younger models to 4,500 nits on the flagship. TCL claims a static contrast ratio of 7,000:1 will deliver deep blacks and improved detail in dark scenes.
Wide color gamut and smooth picture
The Q9L Pro series utilizes Quantum Dot Pro technology, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and promising 100,000 hours of fade-free operation. At the heart of the TVs is a 12nm A73 processor, Mali-G57 MC1 graphics, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. All models support 4K at 144Hz, with overclocking to 288Hz in dynamic scenes.
For gamers, there are four HDMI 2.1, MEMC, ALLM, FreeSync Premium Pro and upgrade to 240Hz. TCL has also retained AV and antenna connectors for older devices.

Cinematic sound and smart features
Models from 65 inches and up feature an Onkyo 2.1.2 audio system with Dolby Atmos, upward-facing speakers and a subwoofer. The TVs run on Lingxi OS 3.0, an ad-free operating system, and Fuxi AI features Fuxi AI to provide voice control, personalization and improved content scaling from 2K to 4K.
Prices and accessories
The models start at 4,299 yuan ($590) for the 55-inch version and go up to 16,999 yuan ($2,340) for the 98-inch version. As part of the early order, TCL is offering free wall mount and installation.
Besides the Q9L Pro series, the company also introduced the TCL T7L Mini LED with 144Hz, 2200 nits of brightness and Dolby Vision, as well as the Z100 soundbar designed for Dolby Atmos.
