MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC introduced

The MediaTek company has presented a mid-budget platform SoC Dimensity 8050, which is not new because in all technical specifications it is absolutely similar to the Dimensity 1300. The new platform is equipped with a 3GHz Cortex-A78 core, as well as three 2.6GHz Cortex-A55 cores, four 2GHz Cortex-A55 cores, Mali-G77 MC9 GPU and 6nm processor.

Surprisingly, it is a fact that the Dimensity 8000, which by parameters should be slightly slower than the Dimensity 8050, is in practice 10-15% faster, and is also made with a thinner 5 nm process technology.

It should be noted that 700,000 points in AnTuTu is quite good for the new platform, but probably this is not the limit either.
