Nintendo Switch 2 is available in Russia: prices have become known

The new console has a 1080p screen and 4K support

Nintendo Switch 2 features a 7.9-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth picture in portable mode. Support for HDR technology enhances color depth. When connected to a TV via the docking station, the set-top box works in 4K, unlocking the full graphics potential of the platform.

Updated Joy-Con 2 and new features

The Joy-Con 2 gamepads now have magnetic mounts for improved usability and a more secure fit. Each controller can now be used as a mouse in compatible games. The remotes also feature a new “C” button for real-time communication and screen sharing. A U-shaped stand is also included to keep the device stable on any surface.

Support for older games and expandable memory

The console is backwards compatible with most games for the previous version of the Nintendo Switch. For a number of titles, updates will be available to adapt projects to the new technical capabilities.

The 256GB of built-in storage is complemented by support for MicroSD Express memory cards, allowing users to store bulky projects without sacrificing download speeds.
