Central Railway Transport Company has run-in the train “Ivolga 4.0” on the Yaroslavl direction

Central Suburban Passenger Company (CPC) conducted a test trip of the train “Ivolga 4.0” on the route of the Yaroslavl direction. This was reported in the press service of the company. The test took place without passengers and outside peak hours.
The purpose of the trip was to test the readiness of the infrastructure
The train left Yaroslavsky station at 11:03 and arrived in Sergiev Posad at 12:20. The return route began at 15:12, and the train returned to Moscow at 16:38. A professional locomotive crew of the Central Railway Transport Company was responsible for the control.
The test trip was part of a comprehensive preparation for the renewal of rolling stock, which CPPK is implementing jointly with the Moscow Department of Transport and Russian Railways.

Ivolga 4.0 is characterized by modern features
According to the company, the new version of “Ivolga” demonstrates high smoothness of travel, reduced noise level and increased comfort for passengers. The trains are equipped with wide doors for quick boarding and disembarkation, spacious saloons with soft seats and USB ports for charging devices. The trains are also equipped with climate control and air disinfection systems.
All generations of the Ivolga are on display for Russia Day
An exhibition of electric trains is being held at Kievsky railway station on the occasion of Russia’s Day. Ivolga trains from the first to the fourth generation are presented at the exhibition. Visitors can familiarize themselves with the technical solutions and comfort level of each of the presented samples.
The CPPK has earlier completed the seasonal preparation of more than 3,800 cars for summer operation. More than 350 trains, including all generations of Ivolga, as well as models EP2DM, EP2D, ED4M, RA-3 and others, were checked. Particular attention was paid to the operation of cooling systems, the serviceability of electrical equipment and reliability of connections.
