In a official teaser, Huawei showed a 15-second video showing off the FreeArc’s design. The headphones have a secure fit for any ear type and IP57 certification, making them resistant to water and dust – perfect for intense workouts.

According to leaks, the device consists of an earpiece connected to a rubber strap that wraps around the ear. It’s designed in an ergonomic C-shape similar to the FreeClip earbuds.

Sound and autonomy
FreeArc features lightweight 17 × 12 mm speakers that deliver deep bass. Battery life reaches up to 28 hours on a single charge, and just 10 minutes of charging in the case gives you 3 hours of music playback time.
Availability and price
The headphones are already available for pre-order in Japan through a crowdfunding platform. The move may be an attempt by Huawei to win the trust of Japanese consumers, known for their conservatism and brand loyalty.
The FreeArc will cost 18,800 yen (~$125 USD) in Japan. Whether the price will remain the same for other regions will be revealed at an official event in Kuala Lumpur next week.
