CES 2025: LG unveils first wireless OLED TV with Microsoft Copilot

LG is expanding its smart TV lineup with the world’s first fully wireless 4K OLED screens with refresh rates up to 165Hz. The new products, the OLED Evo M5 and OLED Evo G5, are powered by the Alpha 11 Gen 2 processor and offer a host of useful AI-based features, including image enhancement, user recognition and integration with Microsoft Copilot.
Improved brightness and color reproduction
LG announced the new OLED TVs on its website and showed them off at CES 2025. The Evo models feature updated Brightness Booster Ultimate technology that uses light amplification algorithms to adjust brightness and enhance color saturation.
According to the company, this technology can increase brightness by up to three times that of conventional OLED displays. The screens have also received multiple certifications for color accuracy, deep black levels, and temperature stabilization.

Artificial intelligence and personalization
The Alpha 11 Gen 2 processor provides users with new artificial intelligence-based capabilities:
- Improves low-resolution image quality;
- Adaptive audio and video modes that adjust to user preferences;
- Personalized recommendations on the home screen;
- Voice recognition for device control;
The TVs also support Microsoft Copilot, a handy chatbot for quick information retrieval, as well as a custom background image generator.
webOS and long-term support
The OLED Evo M5 and G5 run on webOS, which features a smooth interface, easy navigation, and integration with Google Home. LG promises to release software updates over the next five years, providing new features, fixes, and improvements.
