IFA 2025. Acer refreshes Nitro lineup: new laptops, PCs and monitors for gamers

Acer has unveiled its updated Nitro series of gaming devices, including notebooks, desktops and high-resolution monitors. The new products combine powerful hardware, smart software, and vivid graphics, making them equally compelling for gaming, creativity, and everyday use.
Acer Nitro V 16: performance and cinematic graphics
The Nitro V 16 (ANV16-72) features a processor up to Intel Core 9 270H and NVIDIA GeForce GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU graphics on Blackwell architecture. The RTX 50-series graphics cards provide DLSS 4, AI-accelerated image generation, and support for NVIDIA NIM Microservices – out-of-the-box AI models for developers and enthusiasts.

The WQXGA (2560×1600) screen with 100% sRGB coverage and 180Hz delivers vivid and smooth visuals. A cooling system with two fans, four air intakes, and four exhausts keeps you stable during long gaming sessions.
Acer Nitro V 16S: Portability and Style
The Nitro V 16S (ANV16S-71) is aimed at those who play and work on the go. With a slim metal body that’s less than 19.9mm thick, a 4-zone RGB keyboard, and a 180Hz WQXGA screen, it’s a versatile solution for beginners and casual gamers alike.
The hardware is similar to the Nitro V 16, with an Intel Core 9 270H processor, NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics, DLSS 4 support, and neural rendering.

The two models come with NitroSense for cooling customization, Acer Experience Zone suite of apps with AI features, Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro networking technology, and Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Nitro 70 and Nitro 50: desktops with power to spare
The Nitro 70 (N70X3D-100) gets an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor and NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics (3352 AI TOPS). It supports up to 128GB of DDR5 6000 MT/s RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD. The younger Nitro 50 (N50-100) model features AMD Ryzen 7 8700G and NVIDIA RTX 5080, up to 128GB DDR5 5200 MT/s RAM and up to 2TB SSD.

The two models utilize the Nitro CycloneX 360 cooling system (+15% airflow), with the Nitro 70 additionally equipped with a 360mm SLR. The cases feature tempered glass, ARGB lighting, and up to 65% PCR plastic.
