Gigabyte launches 27-inch OLED monitor GO27Q24G with 240Hz refresh rate and 1300-nit peak brightness

Gigabyte has officially unveiled its new 27-inch gaming OLED monitor, the GO27Q24G, in China. Priced at 2,599 yuan (around $376), the monitor closely resembles the previous GO27Q24 model, with its main upgrade being a switch to a different panel technology.

The GO27Q24G features a W-OLED panel with a 2560 × 1440 resolution and a blazing 240Hz refresh rate. It incorporates MLA+ (Micro Lens Array Plus) technology, which boosts brightness while improving energy efficiency. The display uses a RealBlack Glossy surface that’s completely glare-free, with an anti-reflective coating and a special optical layer. This combination reduces reflections, sharpens image clarity, and preserves deep blacks even under bright lighting conditions.

In typical SDR mode, the monitor offers 275 nits of brightness, but it ramps up to a peak of 1,300 nits in HDR. It comes certified with DisplayHDR True Black 400, ensuring strong HDR performance and rich black levels. There’s also a HyperNits mode that boosts HDR brightness by up to 30% for enhanced detail in bright scenes.

The panel’s response time is an ultra-fast 0.03 ms (GtG), which is critical for fast-paced gaming. It supports both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync technologies, minimizing screen tearing and stutter during variable frame rates. Color coverage hits 99% DCI-P3, delivering vibrant, accurate colors whether you’re gaming or editing content.

To enhance long-term viewing comfort, the monitor includes flicker-free technology, blue light reduction modes, and an AI OLED Care system that automatically manages pixels and settings to reduce the risk of screen burn-in. Gigabyte backs the GO27Q24G with a three-year warranty that includes burn-in protection.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 15W power delivery. There’s also a headphone jack. Power comes from an external adapter.

Design-wise, the GO27Q24G features ultra-thin bezels on all four sides, making it ideal for multi-monitor setups. Its ergonomic stand supports 130 mm height adjustment, −5° to 21° tilt, ±15° swivel, and 90° pivot. The metal base is only 2 mm thick, providing solid stability without taking up much desk space.
