Poco X8 Pro appears on Geekbench with Dimensity 8500, Android 16, and 6500 mAh battery
The launch of the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max now seems all but certain – both models have already passed certification in multiple countries. The latest hint comes from Geekbench, where a Poco X8 Pro prototype popped up in the benchmark database, giving us a clear look at its performance stats.
The Geekbench listing reveals the phone scored 1,708 points in the single-core test and 6,297 points in the multi-core test. It runs on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8500 chipset. The tested unit came with 12GB of RAM, though Poco is likely to offer other memory configurations at launch.

The Poco X8 Pro is expected to run Google’s Android 16 out of the box, layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface. Earlier leaks suggest it will pack a 6,500 mAh battery, promising solid endurance.
There are also rumors that the Poco X8 Pro might just be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 for global markets. If that’s true, the phone will sport a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1268 × 2756 resolution, a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, and brightness adjusted via PWM at a whopping 3,840 Hz frequency. Its peak brightness could reach 3,500 nits. Storage options will likely include 256GB and 512GB variants.
Camera-wise, expect a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 20MP front camera. Judging by the leaked info volume, an official Poco X8 Pro announcement could be just around the corner.
