CES 2025: Asus Zenbook A14 laptop officially unveiled

At CES 2025, Asus announced the new Zenbook A14 laptop, which aims to compete with the Apple Macbook Air. This ultraportable combines innovative features, stylish design, and an attractive price point, making it a promising choice for professionals, students, and travelers.

Zenbook A14 stands out for its incredibly lightweight chassis, weighing only 0.98 kg, which is significantly lighter than the Macbook Air (1.24 kg). Asus uses a new material called Ceraluminum, a combination of ceramic and aluminum for durability and lightness.
The design comes in two subtle shades: Iceland Gray and Zabriskie Beige. The matte finish resists fingerprints and scratches, keeping it looking perfect even under heavy use. The device has also passed a series of scratch, impact and everyday wear and tear tests to prove its durability.
The hinge mechanism allows you to open the notebook with one hand, which is a welcome addition to premium models.

The Zenbook A14 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X series processors, including a top-of-the-line configuration with the Snapdragon X Elite chip that delivers powerful performance and outstanding energy efficiency.
