Asus introduces new ExpertBook P1 business notebooks: practicality, reliability and AI tools

After releasing the stylish limited edition Zenbook, Asus is moving on to more practical solutions. The company has unveiled the new ExpertBook P1 series of laptops (models PM1403 and PM1503), aimed at professionals who care about performance and reliability rather than glossy details.

Asus has launched the new ExpertBook P1 series of laptops (models PM1403 and PM1503).

The series includes models with 14- and 15.6-inch Full HD screens. These laptops aren’t flashy, but they offer decent performance and a compact body that weighs 1.4 pounds or less.

All of the laptops in this series are designed to be compact and lightweight.

The new products get processors up to AMD Ryzen 7, support for up to 64GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage (dual-drive configurations are available). Additional features include a built-in fingerprint scanner, TPM 2.0 chip, and Windows Copilot support with a dedicated key for quick access to AI functions.

The new products also include a built-in fingerprint scanner, a TPM 2.0 chip, and support for Windows Copilot with a dedicated key for quick access to AI functions.

Reliability is also a priority. The laptops meet the MIL-STD-810H military ruggedness standard and have passed a series of Asus proprietary stress tests. They’re ready for everyday travel, business trips, and intensive work.

Artificial Intelligence integration is expressed in features like noise cancellation for calls, an improved AI camera for video meetings, and tight integration with Copilot – especially useful for hybrid work formats and online meetings.

Asus has also worked on ergonomics. The ExpertCool cooling system directs hot air backwards, not sideways, so your hand doesn’t get hot when you’re using the mouse. Connectors are conveniently located, leaving the right side of the notebook mostly unobstructed for comfortable use.

From a security perspective, the notebook offers deep protection: TPM 2.0, BIOS rollback protection, and a one-year subscription to McAfee+ Premium with 24/7 identity monitoring, intelligent threat detection, and cleaning tools. For business, there are extended warranty options, a VIP support hotline, and next-business-day onsite service.

Businesses can choose from a variety of options, including extended warranty, VIP support hotline, and next-business-day onsite service.

Pricing and launch date information hasn’t been revealed yet. Perhaps Asus is taking a wait-and-see approach amid uncertainty over new trade-in tariffs. However, the company promises flexibility – pricing will depend on configuration, region, and specific retailer. Official updates are worth keeping an eye out for.
