Xiaomi unveiled the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro smart air conditioner with adaptive airflow

Xiaomi continues to rethink its approach to home cooling. Following last year’s air conditioner with “wall-mounted” airflow, the company has released an updated model – the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro. The novelty has received adaptive airflow, AI control, dual human tracking radar and high energy efficiency. The device is priced at 3,999 yuan (~$550).
Airflow that senses humans
The main feature of the model is the upward airflow distributed across the walls and ceiling, creating a more comfortable cooling experience without direct blowing. In the Pro version, Xiaomi has added double mmWave radar, which tracks human presence in real time.
The system is able to detect where you are and either direct the airflow in your direction for quick cooling, or pull it away to avoid the unpleasant cold. If no one is in the room, the unit automatically goes into energy-saving mode and resumes operation when you return.
The system can detect where you are and either direct the airflow to your side for quick cooling or pull it away to avoid unpleasant cold.
Thanks to Lingyun AI algorithms and cloud-based scene analytics, the air conditioner can save up to 361 kWh per year, equivalent to about 216 yuan (~$30) in energy savings.

Power and energy efficiency
The unit features a two-cylinder inverter compressor and a two-row condenser and evaporator for efficient operation over a temperature range of -35°C to 65°C. The system has an APF 5.65 energy efficiency rating, corresponding to the highest “Super Level 1” class in China.
Smart Features and Clean Air
Like most new Xiaomi devices, the air conditioner integrates into the smart home ecosystem: support for HyperOS Connect, Mi Home app, Xiao Ai voice assistant, over-the-air update (OTA), and the ability to create scenarios and favorite modes.
For hygiene, there is self-cleaning at 56°C (indoor and outdoor units) and an antibacterial filter that removes more than 99% of common bacteria.
Compact and quiet operation
Despite its rich hardware, the unit remains light and compact – weighing only 13 kg and requiring only 35 cm vertically and 2 cm from the top for installation. In quiet mode, the noise does not exceed 18dB, which is quieter than a whisper.
Additional new products from Xiaomi
Along with the new air conditioner, the company also unveiled a smart rice cooker with pressure function, AI and titanium boiler, as well as a central air conditioning system with built-in air purification and intelligent control. Xiaomi is confidently pushing the boundaries of smart home, from the kitchen to the climate.
