Xiaomi announced Robot Vacuum S20 robot vacuum cleaner with AI navigation
By ForGeeks Xiaomi has launched the Robot Vacuum S20 robot vacuum cleaner, which immediately hit the global market. The device features AI navigation function and supports both dry and wet cleaning.
The device can be used for both dry and wet cleaning.
According to the manufacturer’s claim, the Robot Vacuum S20’s motor provides suction power of up to 5000 Pa. It uses a center roller brush to pick up debris and dust and a small side brush that is effective for cleaning corners. The dust collector has a capacity of 400 ml and the water reservoir — 270 ml.
The robot uses the LDS laser navigation system to navigate indoors, which works with an AI algorithm to create an accurate map of the room, follow a specific path and avoid obstacles such as furniture or shoes. It can be controlled via the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home mobile app, as well as with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
The robot can also be controlled via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice assistants.
Autonomy of the robot is ensured by a 3200 mAh battery. Another feature of the model is a compact body with a width of just 325 mm. Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20 price and launch date will be announced later.
