Pre-orders for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 lineup became the highest since 2022

MTS has shared the results of pre-orders for the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones – and they turned out to be record-breaking. Demand for the new products exceeded the 2023 figures by three times, and increased by five times compared to last year. Starting February 3, the S25 series smartphones are already available for purchase in the online store and MTS retail showrooms.

Which models are chosen most often

According to MTS, the most popular model among customers was the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which accounted for 64% of all pre-orders. Second place went to the standard Galaxy S25 (23%), and rounding out the top three was the S25 Plus  with a share of 13%.

In terms of color preferences, users were more likely to choose:

• Dark Blue for Samsung Galaxy S25
• titanium black for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

There has also been an increase in interest in the 512GB – this configuration was chosen by 45% of buyers, whereas last year it was more common to order the version with 256GB. This confirms that users are increasingly demanding the storage capacity and capabilities of today’s smartphones.

Where pre-orders were most frequently pre-ordered

The largest number of orders for the new Galaxy S lineup came from:

• Moscow – 29%
• St. Petersburg – 6%
• Krasnodar – 2%
• Rostov-on-Don – 2%

Why the Galaxy S25 is breaking records

According to experts, the high demand for Samsung’s flagships is due to the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. New AI features have become a key competitive factor among manufacturers, making the Galaxy S25 an attractive choice for users.

“The interest in the Galaxy S lineup is driven by the integration of artificial intelligence, which is the main driver of the technology race today. With sales of new models 5 times higher than last year’s figures, we can confidently say that this is one of Samsung’s most successful flagships,” said General Director of MTS Andrey Gubanov retail network.
