POPPO has announced a new phase of its partnership with Google to improve user interactions with artificial intelligence.
President of OPPO’s software engineering division Kai Tan said: «Working closely with partners such as Google allows us to integrate next-generation AI experiences —powerful, personalized and secure».

One of the major outcomes of the partnership will be a new Mind Space app that will debut alongside the OPPO Find X9 series, scheduled for release on October 28. Mind Space helps users collect and organize content from the screen — text, images, web pages — with a simple three-finger gesture. All saved information is automatically sorted and stored in one place.
OPPO has partnered with Google to ensure that Mind Space is integrated with the Gemini AI model. This will allow users to use stored content in everyday tasks. For example, you can collect articles and notes about a trip and then ask Gemini to create a detailed itinerary. It’s up to the user to decide what data Gemini can see or use, giving them complete control over their privacy.
Gemini will also be integrated into other OPPO apps. Users will be able to chat with it, edit photos with the Nano Banana, and receive visual cues through the Gemini Live feature — for example, instructions on how to repair the device or organize their space.
All functions are secured through OPPO’s AI Private Computing Cloud, which utilizes Google Cloud’s private computing services. This ensures that data processing is done in an encrypted environment and no OPPO or third-party organizations have access to personal information.

The full suite of AI features will be available with the launch of OPPO Find X9 series and ColorOS 16 shell. Owners of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models will receive a free three-month subscription to Google AI Pro with access to premium Gemini tools and 2TB of cloud storage.
