In the first season finale, Tyler emerged as a potential villain for season two. In season one, Wansday began to develop romantic feelings for Tyler before learning that he —s Hyde, a monster who volunteers to do Marilyn Thornhill’s (Ricci) bidding. While Thornhill (who was secretly Laurel Gates) died in the first season finale, Tyler survived, and he will likely seek revenge on Wansday.

What’s Jenna Ortega’s new role behind the scenes?”

In recognition of her rising star in the industry and her role in making «Wansday» such a huge success, Jenna Ortega is now a producer on the series. That gives Ortega more opportunities to be involved in the creative process as the story continues to unfold.

But in a video released last year, Ortega, Myers, Sunday and Doohan talked about some fan theories about what the upcoming season might include. According to Deadline, Ortega revealed some encouraging news about season two while speaking to E! at the «Emmy» Awards in January.

Officially —not yet. Unofficially, Netflix has plans to expand the «Wansday» universe. In late 2023, Bloomberg reported that a potential spin-off featuring Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester was being discussed. However, Netflix has not given the show the green light, and Armisen has not been confirmed as the main character in the possible series. Presumably, Armisen will have to sign a contract with the creative team before Netflix will begin work on the spin-off.

Besides Uncle Fester, the two most likely members of the Addams family to potentially host their own show are Gomez and Morticia. The husband and wife duo — are just the set, and they are rarely seen without each other. If Netflix decides to release a spin-off about Gomez and Morticia, Luis Guzman and Catherine Zeta-Jones will likely be asked to return.

Although Tim Burton directed the first four episodes of «Wansday», it’s currently unknown if he will direct any part of the upcoming second season. Burton is still involved with the show as an executive producer. He also gave the lead female role of Ortega in the long-awaited «Beetlejuice 2» with Michael Keaton. It may help convince Burton to get behind the camera again for «Wanzday», but for now that remains unconfirmed.
So far, that’s not yet confirmed.
