Honor Pad X8b tablet launches globally

Honor has officially launched the Honor Pad X8b on the global market, expanding its lineup with a budget-friendly tablet designed for entertainment and everyday tasks. The new device boasts an 11-inch display with eye-care features, a Snapdragon processor, a quad-speaker setup, and a sizable 10,100mAh battery.

The Honor Pad X8b sports an 11-inch TFT LCD panel with a 1920 × 1200 resolution, 207 pixels per inch, and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches up to 500 nits of brightness and carries TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced blue light and flicker-free performance, ensuring a more comfortable viewing experience.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card up to 2TB, offering ample space for apps and media.

Photography-wise, the Honor Pad X8b features a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera tailored for video calls and basic snapshots. The tablet packs a 10,100mAh battery; while fast charging support hasn’t been disclosed, the company claims up to 97 days of standby time.

It runs on MagicOS 10, built on Android 16, and includes Honor’s suite of software features such as parental controls, eye protection modes, and AI-powered tools. The tablet also offers four speakers tuned with Honor Sound, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and charges via USB-C. The slim chassis measures 7.25mm thick and weighs approximately 496 grams.

In Saudi Arabia, the Honor Pad X8b is priced at 649 SAR (about $175) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant without LTE support. It’s available in a single Space Gray color option. Details about availability in other regions are yet to be announced.
