Oppo unveiled the A38 with a 50 MP camera

Information about the Oppo A38 smartphone surfaced last week, and today the device appeared on the company’s United Arab Emirates website. As predicted by the leak, the phone features a 50MP main camera and a base chipset that only supports LTE, despite the fact that the UAE has 5G in all major cities across the country.

The A38 features a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and 90Hz touch sampling rate. There’s also a Waterdrop cutout for the selfie camera, behind which is a 5MP sensor. There are two cameras on the back, but only the main camera is really useful. It has a resolution of 50 MP with an aperture of f/1.8 and autofocus. The second — 2-MP depth sensor. Chipset — Mediatek Helio G85, the phone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. A micro SD slot allows you to expand the storage up to 1 TB.

Oppo has equipped the A38 with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging as well as basic PD (9V/1.5A). The AE division has promised that the phone will receive updates for 2.5 years, which is a very good thing considering this phone is in a more affordable price range.
