Bethesda executive assured that Redfall will not be abandoned

Bethesda publishing chief Pete Hines said the company will make Redfall «a good game» despite the fact that it wasn’t received well at launch. Speaking with GamesIndustry.biz, Hines was asked if Redfall’s reception has put more pressure on Starfield, which is set for release on Sept. 6. Hines replied that even if Starfield has a difficult launch, Bethesda won’t let it go unnoticed.

Hines said that even if Starfield has a difficult launch, Bethesda won’t let it go unnoticed.

«We’re always in the process of learning, so it’s not news to us»—he replied. «We don—We don—t like it when a game doesn—t live up to the expectations of our players. At the same time, we—re the same company that has had launches that didn—t go the way we wanted them to, and we don—t quit or abandon a job just because it didn»t start the way we wanted it to»

We’re not going to give up on a game.

The same thing is happening with Fallout 76. Redfall is no different for us».

Redfall is no different for us.
