The Oppo Find N6 could debut in early 2026

A reliable insider Digital Chat Station has reported that Oppo is working on the next generation of its flagship foldable smartphone, the Find N6. The novelty is rumored to debut in the first quarter of 2026. Despite the lack of official information, expectations from the device are high: the predecessor, Oppo Find N5, has established itself as one of the best solutions in the segment.

The exact specifications are yet to be revealed, but the Find N6 is expected to continue the focus on a slim body, high quality display, improved camera, and enhanced design reliability.

The Find N6 is expected to have a slimmer body, high quality display, improved camera, and enhanced design reliability.

The Find N5, introduced in February 2025 at a price of 8,999 yuan (roughly $1,255), was the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone – until the Honor Magic V5, which is just 8.93mm thick, was recently released.

The Find N5 featured an 8.12-inch internal foldable display and was the world’s first foldable device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It also got a 5,600mAh battery, support for 80W fast charging on wired and 50W wireless. In addition, the Find N5 is the first foldable smartphone with IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance.

The Find N6 is expected to be even thinner, lighter and more versatile. It’s also being touted as potentially the first foldable smartphone based on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. Oppo is likely to improve key specs – screen, battery life, cameras and ruggedness – while retaining the refined design that has become a hallmark of the N series.

The company is also rumored to be developing a foldable smartphone with a “book” form factor. However, there’s no word yet on Oppo’s plans to release a flip smartphone in 2026.
