Apple M3 will debut in 2024

According to test logs from a third-party Mac app developer, Apple’s new M3 Max chip will have four more CPU cores than its predecessor, the M2 Max. The number of graphics cores will also increase, by two. Thus, the Apple M3 Max will have a 16-core CPU and a 40-core GPU. Meanwhile, the base model M3 will get 8 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores, while the Pro will have 12 and 18, respectively. There are no changes to this plan.
SoC The M3 Max will have 48GB of shared memory and will be significantly faster in most apps, compared to the M2 Max. The chip will again utilize a hybrid setup with 12 high-performance cores and 4 efficient cores.
The three chips in question will be used in a number of MacBooks and Macs over the next couple of years. The MacBook Pro, due out tentatively in October 2024, will be the first laptop with the new series of processors.
