HIMMED has created the advanced Russian chromatography-mass spectrometer AtomiX

At the Analytika Expo 2025 exhibition held on April 23, the multidisciplinary holding company HIMMED presented its own development – a new generation high-precision gas chromatography-mass spectrometer with tandem analysis and triple quadrupole called AtomiX. This device is the result of a major national project supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and aimed at strengthening the technological sovereignty of the country.
AtomiX was created as a response to the need of the domestic market for modern analytical solutions capable of competing with the world’s leading analogs in terms of accuracy, speed and reliability. Its development and serial production are carried out in Russia, including the creation of key components, software and assembly.
AtomiX is designed to meet the demand of the domestic market for advanced analytical solutions that can compete with the world’s leading analogs.

A new standard in Russian instrumentation
AtomiX is a gas chromatography-mass spectrometer with a tandem analysis scheme and triple quadrupole system, in which the latest engineering and technological achievements are realized. The instrument is characterized by high sensitivity, stability and advanced analytical capabilities.
The device is built on a fully localized platform – all design elements are manufactured in Russia, and for the software component is responsible for its own domestic software, adapted for both domestic and international markets. This gives complete independence from imported solutions, including service and software updates.

Competitive performance and practical superiority
The technical parameters of the AtomiX are on a par with – and in some respects even superior to – foreign models. In comparative tests on pesticide mixtures and standard samples, the instrument has proven its high accuracy, repeatability and performance.
One of the key advantages is the advanced electronic control system with intuitive interface, which is based on familiar schemes of interaction with similar equipment, which simplifies the introduction of the device into the work of laboratories.

Benefits and applications
- Full localization of production and service;
- No dependence on foreign supplies and sanctions risks;
- Support from Russian developers;
- The possibility of modernization and operational repair.
The instrument is designed for a wide range of professional applications: from quality control in pharmaceuticals and medicine to food and cosmetics analysis, environmental monitoring and pesticide residue determination.
HIMMED CEO Nikolai Tsurkov said the launch of AtomiX is an important step in implementing the import-independence policy:”Now laboratories across the country will be able to receive world-class equipment with local support and upgrades without fear of supply disruptions or restrictions from foreign suppliers.”
AtomiX is an important step in implementing the import-independence policy.
