The Nothing Phone (3) was expected to launch in Q3 2025, but the specific date remained unknown – until renowned tech blogger Yogesh Brar shared a hint on X (formerly Twitter). In response to a discussion about a possible Q3 launch, he succinctly wrote: “7/25”, which can be interpreted as July 25. He later confirmed that this is the date that should be considered as the benchmark for the release of the new smartphone.

Looking back at last year’s Phone (2), there are significant improvements over the original model: increased battery life, a refined body, and a more stable version of the brand’s proprietary Nothing OS shell. Even with these improvements, however, the smartphone couldn’t seriously compete with flagships from Samsung, Google, or Apple.
Could the Phone (3) make a breakthrough?
The Nothing series has established itself in a niche among enthusiasts who appreciate an unconventional approach to design and a clean, minimalist software environment. However, the mass market has so far remained elusive for the brand.
It may be the Phone (3) that will be the tipping point. If it offers balanced specs, decent performance and a reasonable price, Nothing will have a chance to gain a foothold in a wider audience.
