Sony has announced August’s PlayStation Plus Essential titles

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the list of PlayStation Plus Essential games for August 2023. The first batch of PlayStation Plus games next month will be PGA Tour 2K23 (PS5, PS4), Dreams (PS4) and Death’s Door (PS5, PS4). Subscribers will be able to get those games from August 1 through September 4.

Sony-owned studio Media Molecule recently announced that it will stop supporting the game Dreams as of September 1. Players will still be able to play, create, and share content after that date, but the game will no longer receive updates.

Sony Announces August PlayStation Plus Essential ()

PlayStation Plus members have until July 31 to get July’s Essential games. These include Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (PS5, PS4), Alan Wake Remastered (PS5, PS4) and Endling: Extinction is Forever (PS5, PS4).

The first PlayStation Plus game catalog for August was announced earlier this week. Retro turn-based RPG Sea of Stars from Sabotage Studios will be part of the subscription service when it releases on August 29.
