The digital ruble has now become the third form of national currency in the Russian Federation. So in the near future, the Bank of Russia plans to issue the ruble in this format in addition to the existing — cash currency and non-cash currency.

All transfers and payments will reportedly be free for citizens. But if we are talking about business — then get ready to pay a commission of 0.3% of the planned payment.

The Central Bank will be responsible for opening digital wallets, conducting transactions and so on. The digital ruble will also be subject to all requirements regarding bank secrecy.
