The Phone (2) has been officially announced.
At first glance, the Phone (2) is identical to the Phone (1), but the new device has a rounded back panel, making it easier to handle. The Glyph interface has also received an update and now consists of 11 segmented LED strips with 33 zones of LED backlighting. It offers new notification options such as volume control and timer indicators.

For Essential Glyph notifications, you can assign specific apps to the top left LED, which will stay lit until you remove the message from the notification menu. Nothing is also opening up the Glyph SDK and API interface to developers, so we’ll likely see even more use cases in the future.
Nothing has opted for a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The camera cutout is now centered and features a 32MP front-facing camera with a Sony IMX615 sensor and support for 1080p video recording at 60fps.
