Flagship Android tablets equipped with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chipsets are rare, even though flagship smartphones are upgraded to top SoCs every year. So far, no tablets are using the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but rumors suggest that’s about to change.

According to an insider published on the X network, Xiaomi is working on a new tablet with this chipset, and the device should hit the market at the end of the year. While details about the model are still scarce, the use of such a powerful chipset hints at the device’s top-end specs.

If the rumors are confirmed, the tablet will surely get:
