Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

The rumored nubia Red Magic 8S Pro smartphone, which will arrive on July 5, will be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2. However, those rumors turned out to be wrong, as the company announced that it will be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

Nubia also said that the main Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 core in the Red Magic 8S Pro will run at up to 3.36GHz, unlike the Red Magic 8 Pro, which has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 main core with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz.
The company previously confirmed that the Red Magic 8S Pro will have 24GB of RAM, but has yet to provide detailed specifications for the smartphone. Rumors claimed that the Red Magic 8S Pro —is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2-powered Red Magic 8 instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but since the company confirmed that it is not, it remains unclear whether the Red Magic 8S Pro will share the other specs with the base model.
