Spider-Man 2 has a release date
By ForGeeks Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has received a release date. As revealed at Summer Game Fest, the sequel will be released for the PS5 on October 20, 2023. Pre-orders will open on June 16, and today Insomniac detailed the game’s various editions and pre-order bonuses.
Every person who pre-orders the game will receive an early unlocked Arachnight costume for Peter with three additional color options, an early unlocked Shadow Spider costume for Miles with three additional color options, an early unlocked Web Grabber gadget, and three skill points. The price of the standard edition of the game will be $69.99.
Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99) will include the base game, all pre-order bonuses, plus 10 unique costumes (five for each character), additional Photo Mode frames and stickers, and two additional skill points.
The Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition ($229.99) will include a Digital Deluxe Edition voucher, Steelbook case and a 19-inch statue of Peter Parker and Miles Morales battling Venom. Apparently, this will be available exclusively through Sony’s PlayStation Direct online store.
