Remedy showed the first gameplay of Alan Wake 2
By ForGeeks The first gameplay footage of Alan Wake 2 has been revealed. Remedy creative director Sam Lake called the game «the first survival horror game». The footage shows new protagonist Saga Anderson exploring the nighttime forest. Anderson —s a police officer investigating a series of murders that turn out to replicate the events of one of author Wake’s novels.
Lake says the game begins with players controlling Saga. Lake also says that the game can be enjoyed without knowledge of the first part of Alan Wake, as Saga enters the game unaware of the events of the previous game and learns about them as the game progresses. Players will be able to switch between Saga and Alan throughout the game, and will be able to favor one character over the other if they wish.
Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 17 and will only be released digitally.
