At last reports, the OnePlus community has confirmed that OxygenOS 15 will be unveiled on October 24, just days after the announcement of the new Snapdragon 8 Elite (or 8 Gen 4) processor.
Visual improvements and AI features in OxygenOS 15
The main tagline for the new interface is “Speed meets AI,” which explains the key improvements. This comes as no surprise, as the recently unveiled ColorOS 15 also received a number of visual and performance improvements along with new AI-powered features. However, OnePlus has yet to reveal full details about the innovations in OxygenOS 15. The new interface is rumored to offer Gemini integration and an AI-powered photo editing tool similar to Google’s Magic Eraser.

It’s also reported that OxygenOS 15 will get a revamped control center, with a design that may resemble solutions from iOS and HyperOS. For example, swiping down from the left corner of the screen could open the notification panel, while swiping from the right corner could open the Control Center.
An update to the Control Center is also reported.
This redesign will be one of the most notable visual changes to the new interface from OnePlus. The redesigned layout is expected to include a 2×2 media player, a 1×2 brightness slider, and a volume controller in a similar format.
