Casio showed a series of EDIFICE watches with solar charging

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Japanese racing team TOM’S, Casio has released a limited edition EDIFICE watch. The new model is presented in a massive case with a leather strap inspired by the design of the iconic 1970s sports car, the TOM’S KP47 Starlet.
The watch reflects the KP47 Starlet’s color palette of white, red and green hues. The metal bracelet loop is reminiscent of the car’s side mirror mounts, the dial is associated with Igeta wheels, and the honeycomb pattern at the “3” mark refers to the front grille of the KP47 Starlet.
