Google unveiled three AI features for Chrome browser

Google has unveiled a video showing off upcoming updates. Chrome will soon get the ability to search with “Google Lens,” compare products, and “interact” with the history of web pages you’ve visited.
See the video for more details.
“Google Lens” will function similarly to the app on a smartphone, but instead of a camera, the browser will use the computer screen. To do this, you’ll need to click on the camera button and highlight the information you’re interested in. For example, you can quickly find information about an image, select text from a video, or select an object in a photo.
Another new feature is similar to Circle to Search on Google and Samsung smartphones. Users will be able to refine queries using Google’s familiar search bar and get information about what’s depicted in a photo, thanks to AI. For example, you can highlight a flower and ask the neural network how much light it needs. These updates will become available to all users in an upcoming browser update.
Samsung’s AI will be available to all users in the next browser update.
The Tab Compare AI feature will allow Chrome to analyze products in different tabs and present their comparison on a single page. The feature is expected to arrive within a few weeks in the US, with no information yet on availability in other regions. In addition, another novelty will be the ability to “communicate” with the history of the browser. For example, Chrome will be able to answer the question “What ice cream store did I last visit last week?” entered in the address bar (history from incognito mode will not be taken into account).
