Chinese company Cixin Technology has released its first processor designed specifically for artificial intelligence (AI) systems. This processor is called the Cixin P1.

Cixin P1 is designed as a competitor to top AI processors like AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 and Intel’s Lunar Lake family of processors. It promises to be just as performant and efficiently handle AI-related tasks. The integrated Cixin P1 neuromodule delivers up to 45 TOPS of performance. This allows you to efficiently perform AI-related tasks.

The Cixin P1 processor is built on a 6nm process based on ARM architecture similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite. It is a 12-core processor with 8 performance cores and 4 power efficient cores. Cixin Technology claims that the processor is fully compatible with the UnlimBot+ platform, making it attractive for use in a variety of artificial intelligence systems.

Cixin P1 supports up to 64 GB of LPDDR5 type RAM. This ensures fast data access. Also the processor is compatible with 4K displays with refresh rate 120 Hz and interface PCIe 4.0. This allows it to be used in modern systems with high performance requirements.

At first glance, the Cixin P1 looks very promising. However, the real power of the processor will be clear only after the publication of the test results. The sales launch date and price have not been announced yet.
