Nissan has announced it will cease production of the GT-R for the North American market, ending the iconic car’s 17-year history. The last R35 models, the Skyline and Takumi Edition, will be available in October and mark the end of an era for the model.

Final models of the Nissan GT-R R35

  • Skyline Edition is based on the base model «Premium» and will be offered exclusively in Bayside Blue with a blue interior. This version is priced at $132,985.

Takumi Edition is an upgraded version of the 2024 GT-R T-Spec painted in Midnight Purple. It features carbon-ceramic brakes, gold RAYS forged wheels and extended front fenders. The underhood features a gold VIN plate and the exterior badges have red lettering honoring Takumi, the master craftsmen who create the GT-R. This version is priced at $152,985.

The two models are powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 with 565 horsepower, a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, and all-wheel drive. Information on the number of production numbers of these limited editions is not yet available.

The end of the R35 era and the future of the GT-R
