Electrical faults in pre-production Lada Iskra
The insider reported that some cars have working ignition but non-functioning headlights and instrument illumination, while others have the opposite: headlights and instrument illumination work but ignition does not. These problems cause serious delays in the production process.
To solve the problems, AvtoVAZ has brought in specialists from abroad, and, according to some reports, from an unfriendly country. This information raises additional questions and fuels interest in the situation.
Delayed pace of body painting
In addition to electrical problems, AvtoVAZ is also facing a slow body painting process. At the moment, the paint workout is very slow – only 1-2 units per week. Despite the current difficulties, AvtoVAZ has time to fix all the problems. Serial production of Lada Iskra is scheduled for February 2025, which gives the company a chance to sort out the problems and prepare the cars for the market.
