Another Chinese car brand will soon appear in Russia – Arcfox

The Chinese brand Arcfox, which is the electric car division of BAIC, will produce and sell cars in Russia. According to Sergei Tsyganov, an auto expert and host of the Russian Car TV channel, the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad has signed an agreement with Arcfox, and has already started building up the brand’s dealer network in Russia.

It is not yet known which Arcfox models will be produced in Russia. The brand is not so popular in China: only 30,016 Arcfox cars were sold in the whole of 2023, which is only 0.12% of the market share.

Reminder that the Avtotor plant already produces conventional BAIC cars with internal combustion engines, including the BAIC U5 Plus sedan, BAIC X35, X55, X7 and X75 crossovers, as well as the BJ40 frame SUV.
