Vivo has unveiled its flagship X300 series with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and a 200 MP camera

Vivo has officially unveiled the X300 series of smartphones, which includes the base model X300 and the older X300 Pro. Both devices are built on the new flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and have received notable improvements in performance, cameras, and design.

The flagship X300 Pro features a triple camera co-developed with Zeiss. The main sensor is — a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 measuring 1/1.28 inches with an aperture of f/1.57 and Gimbal OIS stabilization. Complementing it are a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle module and a new 200 MP Samsung HPB telephoto lens with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor. The front camera also gets a 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor.

The smartphone is powered by a Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with Vivo’s proprietary V3+ image processing chip, up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. A 6,510 mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging and wireless — 40W is responsible for the battery life.

The X300 Pro display — 6.78-inch 8T LTPO panel with 1260×2800 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The 7.99 mm thick and 226 g body has IP68/IP69 protection. Among the colors are — black, brown, blue, and white.

The younger X300 is also built on the Dimensity 9500 and is available in configurations up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone gets a more compact body and a 6.31-inch LTPO display (1216×2640 pixels, 120Hz). The battery is slightly smaller —6040 mAh, but supports the same 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.
The X300’s main camera is — a 200 MP Samsung HPB (1/1.4″, f/1.68), a 50 MP Sony LYT-602 telephoto lens, and a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide-angle module. The front camera — is also a 50 MP JN1. At 7.95mm thick, the device weighs 190g, is IP68/IP69 protected and is available in black, blue, pink and purple.

The two models run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and offer support for NFC, Bluetooth (6.0 on the Pro, 5.4 on the X300), dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and stereo speakers.
The Vivo X300 Pro starts at 5,299 yuan ($745) for the 12GB/256GB version and goes up to 6,699 yuan ($945) for the top-of-the-line model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.The base Vivo X300 starts at 4,399 yuan ($620) for the 12GB/256GB configuration, while the most expensive version (16GB/1TB) will cost 5,999 yuan ($845).
