Hisense unveiled the E8S RGB MiniLED TV with 180 Hz and up to 100 inches diagonal size
Hispense has launched a new E8S TV with RGB MiniLED backlighting in China. It’s a slim 4K model with a native refresh rate of 180Hz and will be available in three large diagonals — up to 100 inches. Apparently, we are facing a Chinese version of the model recently announced for the global market.
Hisense E8S comes a few months after the launch of the E8S Pro, another RGB MiniLED-backlit TV introduced earlier in China. It ranks a little lower in the lineup, but still offers very advanced features.

The TV features a 4K panel with a native 180Hz refresh rate and will be sold in 75-, 85- and 100-inch versions. According to the manufacturer, all models cover 100% of the BT.2020 color space. The older 100-inch version gets 9,360 zones of local dimming. All diagonals use the proprietary Obsidian Screen Pro, which reflects only about 1.8% of ambient light, making the TV well-suited for brightly lit rooms.
For gamers, the Hisense E8S offers four HDMI 2.1 ports with up to 48Gbps of bandwidth and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification with support for up to 180Hz. From wireless interfaces, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 are available. Sound is handled by an integrated 4.2.2 audio system configured with Devialet.
The TV is positioned as an ultra-thin model. It can be mounted virtually up against a wall or placed on a cabinet with the included stand.

Hispense E8S RGB MiniLED pricing starts at $1,865 for the 75-inch diagonal version.
