Vivo has officially unveiled the new Vivo TWS 5 fully wireless headphones along with its flagship X300 smartphone series and Vivo Pad 5e tablet. The new product comes in two versions — the standard TWS 5 and the advanced TWS 5 Hi-Fi, differing only in the audio codecs supported.

The main difference between the versions is the codecs supported: the standard model supports LDAC, AAC, SBC and LC3, while the Hi-Fi-version adds LHDC support while retaining all the others.
The headphones feature three microphones each, providing an active noise canceling (ANC) system with up to 60dB of efficiency and an average depth of suppression of about 28dB. Artificial Intelligence technology improves the quality of voice calls. Connection is via Bluetooth 5.4 with a range of up to 10 meters and a minimum latency of 42 ms. The headphone case has a classic «foot» form factor and is IP54 dust and water resistant.
Autonomy is impressive, with up to 12 hours of use from the earbuds themselves and up to 48 hours with recharging from the case. Vivo has also added a voice translation feature that supports multiple languages, including Chinese, English, Korean, and French.

The Vivo TWS 5 costs 399 yuan (about $56 USD) in China, while the TWS 5 Hi-Fi version will cost 499 yuan (about $70 USD).
