The Tensor G5 includes one main Cortex-X4 core (3.78GHz), five high-performance Cortex-A725 cores (3.05GHz), and two power-efficient Cortex-A520 cores (2.25GHz). Graphics performance is provided by the PowerVR DXT-48-1536 from Imagination Technologies.

In testing, the processor scored 2,276 in the single-core test and 6,173 in the multi-core test. Despite the marked improvement in performance, the chip is still behind rivals Qualcomm and MediaTek. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Elite scores 3,070 and 9,251 points in the same tests, while the Dimensity 9400 scores 2,597 and 8,109 points respectively. The closest thing to the Tensor G5 was the Dimensity 9300 with scores of 2,207 and 7,408 points.
