HONOR Magic 8 Pro debuted in the UAE
HONOR has unveiled the Magic 8 Pro flagship smartphone in the United Arab Emirates. The new product, which already debuted globally in October, is now available to buyers in Dubai, emphasizing its focus on AI-assisted image processing, long battery life, high performance and advanced connectivity technologies.
HONOR has announced the launch of the Magic 8 Pro in the United Arab Emirates.
Main features of the model include a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor for speed and temperature control. The smartphone has a 7100 mAh battery with 100W ultra-fast charging support and 80W wireless charging. The network range supports 5.5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and other modern communication standards.
The key feature is the photo system with a 200 MP main sensor equipped with artificial intelligence for low-light and long-range shooting. There’s also a 3.7x optical zoom telephoto lens with up to 100x digital zoom, and a 50 MP front camera that can shoot in 4K at 60 frames per second.
The display is a 6.71-inch OLED with 1.5K resolution, refresh rate up to 120Hz and brightness up to 1800 nits, protected by Rhino Glass. It has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, high-quality stereo speakers, and an infrared port.
Sales in the United Arab Emirates are scheduled to begin on December 11. Three color options – Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan and Black – are available. The price for the base version with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage is around $1,089, while the more powerful variant with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at around $1,279. As part of the pre-order, buyers will get a HONOR Watch5 Ultra and a number of other perks as well.
