Up to 7.68TB Kingston DC600M SSD presented
Kingston has officially announced the new DC600M 2.5-inch enterprise-class SSD, designed for data center applications with power loss protection. The SSD is a 6Gb/s SATA 3.0 SSD with 3D TLC NAND and hardware PLP for mixed workloads in high-volume rackmount servers.
The SSD has power loss capacitors to protect user data from unexpected power loss and improves performance at the hardware level, and also supports 256-bit AES low-latency encryption across a wide range of read and write workloads. According to the vendor, the supported capabilities are ideal for stable data storage.
It should be noted that the SSD is available in the following capacities: 480, 960, 1920, 3,840 and 7,680GB, and sequential read and write speeds of 560 and 530 MB/s, respectively.
