Huawei Mate X7 enters the international market
Just weeks after its Chinese premiere, the Huawei Mate X7 has made its global debut. The new generation of the foldable smartphone has received notable upgrades: improved water and dust protection (IP58 and IP59), a new Kirin 9030 Pro processor, a redesigned telephoto lens camera and a slightly larger battery.
Mate X7 features larger displays. The outer display is — a 6.49-inch LTPO OLED with a 20.4:9 aspect ratio, while the inner display is — an 8-inch LTPO OLED with an 8:7.3 aspect ratio. Both displays support variable refresh rates from 1 to 120 Hz and high-frequency PWM dimming of 1,440 Hz. Protection has been updated too, with the outer screen getting Crystal Armour Kunlun glass and the flexible inner one — an updated three-layer composite construction with a new protective layer and UTG glass.

The back panel houses a triple camera. The main module — 50MP with RYYB sensor, optical stabilization and physical variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/4.0 (10 steps). The telephoto lens is upgraded to 50MP and gets a brighter f/2.2 aperture as well as a 3.5x optical zoom. The third module — a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies, there are two 8-megapixel cameras — one on the outer screen and one on the inner screen.
Autonomy is provided by a 5,600 mAh (Si-C) battery that supports 66W fast charging via cable and 50W wireless.
The Huawei Mate X7 will be available in white, black and red colors, priced at €2,100.
