Redmi TV X 2026 98-inch Redmi TV with Mini LED panel and HyperOS 3 system has been released
Coinciding with the launch of theK90 series smartphones, Xiaomi has unveiled a new 98-inch Redmi TV X 2026 in China. It’s priced at 7,599 yuan (about $1,070) — nearly double the price of the 85-inch model introduced earlier this month for 4,799 yuan (about $670).

Redmi TV X 98 features a Mini LED panel with 880 backlight zones and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The screen supports 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate in standard mode and up to 288Hz in gaming mode. According to Xiaomi, the Qingshan Eye Protection system uses a combination of hardware and software technologies to reduce blue light and automatically adjust the color temperature based on the lighting in the room.

The TV is powered by the HyperOS 3 operating system and a quad-core Cortex-A73 processor, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Interfaces include — Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, two HDMI 2.1 ports with eARC support, USB 3.0, Ethernet and optical audio output.
In terms of picture, the device supports HDR10+, a DCI-P3 color gamut of 94%, and ΔE≈2 color accuracy. Each TV is factory calibrated. It also uses the proprietary Full-Stack Color Engine and an intelligent local dimming system controlled by artificial intelligence that adjusts contrast and brightness by zone. This ensures deep blacks, brighter highlights, and natural tones.
For gamers, VRR, Dolby Vision Gaming and FreeSync Premium technologies are available, and response time is just 4ms.
