Oppo has announced the F31 series of 5G-enabled smartphones – launching on September 15 in India

Oppo has confirmed that its new F31 series of 5G-enabled smartphones will launch in India on September 15. The new range, which follows the F29 series, comes with the tagline “Reliable Champion”. However, the official statement did not provide any details about the specifications of the devices.

A few hours later, whistleblower Paras Guglani published what appeared to be full specs for the entire F31 series, which includes the F31, F31 Pro and F31 Pro Plus models. The leak was also accompanied by an image revealing the design and key features.

  Features and protections

  All three models feature 7000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging support. The F31 series has been given high protection ratings of IP66, IP68, and IP69, providing protection against dust, water, and high-pressure jets. Oppo also emphasizes the presence of a “360-degree armored body” coupled with an ultra-thin design.
